5 fun ideas for your leftover stones.Updated 2 months ago

1 - THE DECORATED LAMP BY ELLEN M.

This great idea by Ellen M. couldn't be missed, of course, and we're happy to start this list with that, because look at how fun it is! Ellen has used double-sided tape / adhesive tape, which you also need for carpeting. Carpet tape, available at hardware stores. Very sturdy and therefore perfect for making the stones stick well.

You can make it as crazy as you want or choose colors that fit nicely with your interior. So go to the hardware store and get creative!

2 - THE BEST PERSONALIZED GIFTS FROM RENATE V.

Are you looking for inspiration for a nice, homemade gift for someone? Then take a look at Renate's creations! Among other things, she makes super nice bottles for flowers with your name on them.

Also to be able to make this, the double-sided tape is again your best friend. It is most convenient to stick your stones on one side of the tape first and then put them on a bottle. The other way around is of course also possible, but then it can be difficult to place them straight when you work with square stones. It doesn't really matter with round stones, do what you like best!

Renate also made these colored letters! She used super glue on the curves of the letters and double-sided adhesive tape on the flat parts. Of course you can also make names for friends with this!

3 - THE ADORABLE BIRTHDAY CARDS FROM GWENDOLINE C.

Do you have stones left and does someone happen to have a birthday soon? How nice is it to send or give them a special, homemade card?! Check out this adorable card from Gwendoline that she gave to a loved one who turned 4.

These nice cards are a bit easier to make, but a good dose of creativity is important. Of course you don't have a pattern with symbols, so you really have to come up with your own creation. Use as many or as few stones as you want and you can use a very small drop of (colorless) glue for each stone or double-sided tape / adhesive tape.

4 - THE GIFT CANS FROM SOFIE B.

We at Happy Painting also call her 'Super Sofie'! What she can do with leftover stones is too nice not to share with you. Take these gift cans for example. It's a bit of work, but luckily she shared a video in the Happy Painting Club how she makes it exactly. You can see this video here!

Sofie has already made a lot of them and given them away to loved ones. One received delicious freshly baked cookies as a gift, the other received a great piggy bank. So you see, there are so many possibilities with simple home, garden and kitchen items!

5 - SHIRLEY DEN O'S GOOD STORAGE BOX.

We all have it at home: those incredibly boring and gray storage boxes. They are super handy of course, but not really pleasing to the eye. Shirley found a solution for that! See her brightened storage box here. Let's be honest, doesn't that already look much nicer? And it's also an easy one to do. You only need to use double-sided adhesive tape and stick with your remaining diamonds!
