Data breachUpdated 2 months ago

When a customer reaches out regarding a breach in our data, such as:

  • I never subscribed for this newsletter
  • How did you get my email address?
  • I want to know what data you have from me
  • I want to receive all data about me
  • customers from another country that all of a sudden receive emails from another shop of us they don't know
  • ...

This, in Europe, is a big issue and can cost us a LOT of money and potentially all of our jobs, so it is extremely important we handle this with care!

Please do also read our GDPR article.

If this happens, you will ALWAYS tag your customer service manager to give you instructions on how to handle this and add the tag 'wrong data' to the ticket. As contact reason you can use ' wrong personal data'

You can inform the customer you will forward this request to the designated department and they will be contacted soon.
